John A. Woodward graduated from Colorado State University in 1974 with a major in finance and a minor in accounting. He received his Juris Doctor degree from Southwestern University School of Law in 1977. He holds licenses to practice law in Colorado and California. He is a member of the Colorado, California, Arapahoe County (Colorado), and South Bay (California) Bar Associations. Mr. Woodward is also admitted to practice in Federal District Court and The United States Tax Court.
Mr. Woodward is one of two founding partners of Spierer, Woodward, Corbalis & Goldberg, a Professional Corporation, which began its operation in 1978. The firm has several areas of specialization, including business, real estate, resolution of business disputes, corporate, and estate planning.
Mr. Woodward heads the transaction department of Spierer, Woodward, Corbalis & Goldberg. His practice is limited to business and real estate transactions.
Mr. Woodward is a former Chairman of the Greenwood Village (Colorado) Parks, Trails and Recreation Commission, and past President of the Village Tennis and Riding Club located in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado. He is the past President of the Inverness Water and Sanitation and Inverness Metropolitan districts. He is the past president of the Preserve Homeowners Association. He is a current member of the board of Cherry Hills Country Club in Cherry Hills Village, Colorado and serves as Club Secretary. He is a member of the Reserve Club Indian Wells. He is married, has three adult children, and resides in Greenwood Village, Colorado.
Steven F. Spierer
Steven F. Spierer graduated from Southwestern University School of Law in Los Angeles, California in 1977. He graduated from California State University at Dominguez Hills, with a B.S. in Political Science, in 1975. Mr. Spierer is one of two founding partners of the law firm of Spierer, Woodward, Corbalis & Goldberg which was established in 1978 and is located in Redondo Beach, California and Englewood, Colorado. Mr. Spierer is the Partner in charge of the dispute resolution practice for the law firm, which employs fourteen attorneys, five paralegals, and various support personnel and which serves clients in litigation and transactional law in real estate, business and estate planning representing a variety of individuals, families, businesses, and enterprises.
Mr. Spierer is a frequent lecturer on various real estate subjects, which include avoiding sexual harassment claims and “How to Practice Real Estate Without Getting Sued.” He is also admitted to practice in both the Central and Southern District of the Federal Court in California and in the United States Tax Court.
Mr. Spierer is married and has three adult children, and resides in Palos Verdes Estates, California. He is a member of Congregation Ner Tamid and served for 5 years as Chairman of its successful Facility Expansion Capital Campaign Committee. Mr. Spierer hosts a live weekly internet radio program featuring a variety of guests on a subjects in assisting people in navigating through life on TalkRadioOne.com.
